Camp Health Research

Current and past studies on camp health provide the information needed to continue developing the profession of camp health. Collaboration between the Association of Camp Nursing, universities, funding agencies and industry partners is foundational to these evidence based research studies.

Active Research Projects

ACN has a current research project addressing the impact of fatigue within camps. Efforts are underway to identify and collect information through research focus groups at the 2018 American Camp Association national conference in Orlando, FL. If you are a camp director or healthcare provider attending the 2018 ACA national conference, consider joining us to provide information about the impact of fatigue on your camp.
